More on Direct Sign Mounts - a quick and inexpensive functional bracket:

We offer mounts that hold either a 1/8” or ¼” thick substrate perpendicular to the wall. This functional bracket is fabricated from aluminum, and comes with set screws to hold the sign in place. Another functional bracket offering are our cleat hangers, which are sold in pairs, and in varying lengths to mount a sign or other heavy object to a wall. Stand Off sign hardware is fabricated in aluminum with a satin finish, and by putting a stand off in each corner of the sign, creates a sign that gets noticed.

Direct Sign Mounts are the preferred method for hanging small thin signs perpendicular from a wall, or flag mount signage from a wall. Sign Bracket Store’s Sign Direct Mounts come in a variety of lengths (6”,8”, 10” or 12”) and accommodates 1/8” and ¼” thicknesses. White PVC sign blanks are also available in a variety of sizes that coordinate with all our sign mounting hardware. Our aluminum Direct Sign Mounts come in a natural aluminum finish and are resistant to inclement weather, moisture, and humidity. Aluminum Sign Direct Mounts can be painted or powder-coated to match a color or décor theme, and can be used outdoors as well. Custom size lengths are available.
