Our Extra Large (XL) Laguna Premier Window Box is made premium grade composite cellular PVC material will not rot or mildew and is completely insect proof. Like most of our other Premier Composite styles, it comes with an "Easy Up" integrated cleat mounting system that makes for a simple installation and easy box removal for winter or replanting.
The 5/8" thick premier composite PVC looks exactly like wood and are made from solid "wood-like" panels by our dedicated craftsmen. Cellular PVC has the same density (and weight) as White Pine but as they have no wood properties, they won't accept moisture that leads to cracking, rotting and warping. These nearly maintenance free boxes will add a lifetime of Curb Appeal.

Carefree elegance comes your way with every Laguna premier window box planter. The extra large (XL) window box is a favorite to create a stunning statement in flowers. Features of this and our other window planter choices make this outdoor planter carefree to let you concentrate on gardening. The Laguna container planter window box has one more feature that brings our customers back again and again - our "easy up" cleat mounting system that makes it easy to de-mount your window boxes for replanting or winter storage if you choose. A self-watering reservoir is the perfect accessory to make your warm-season container planter care even more relaxing.
However, think about four-season use of the Laguna window box container in spots where you or passersby will enjoy a festive note. Look for plants with long seasons, or that have "good bones" to enjoy when left in place in a window box over the winter. Many decorative grasses have wonderful lines all year, and shorter versions look great as part of a PVC window box design. If you love traditional English primroses, they bloom early and late and stay green most of the winter in Zones 6 and up, and sometimes in Zone 5. Tuck some in your Laguna window box container. If they go dormant, they green early in the spring; they sometimes rebloom in the fall.
Seasonal decorations are fun. Think about adding an array of candy canes, pine cones and greens to your weather-resistant window boxes. Or spray some branches silver, gold, or both. They are great with white, gold, silver, or green accents, or your favorite colors in any container planting.
