Our Countryside Railing Planters Details:

These are made extra deep so you can plant flowers and plants with larger root systems with no worries about binding the roots. These fit tightly on a typical 2" x 4" or 2" x 6" (nominally measured at 3.5" and 5.5" respectively) and come in two lengths, 16" or 24" and are 12" Wide and a generous 10" in height. You can fit about 11.3 dry quarts of soil in the 16" length, while the 24" comes in at 18.3 dry quarts of soil capacity. Countryside Railing Planter
I now have 8 of these railing planters and am so very impressed with how stable that are straddling my 4 inch railing. Mine are black and they compliment the cedar siding of my house and other colors of ceramic planters on the deck. Comparing them to others I have used they seem well constructed and an overall upgrade.
